At St. Lawrence we want to encourage and develop a love of learning for our pupils that will stay with them throughout their lives.

Christian values and ethos are at the heart of the school.  Our aim is to provide children with a high quality education where purposeful learning, stimulus and a full partnership between teachers and parents encourage each child to reach his/her maximum potential.  Within a safe, friendly and caring environment, pupils are encouraged to develop their academic, physical, spiritual and emotional capabilities.  The school seeks to help children recognise their place in the community, to be life-long learners, ready to take their place as active citizens and to accept their responsibilities as they progress through childhood into adulthood.

At St. Lawrence, we aim to promote equality and tackle any form of discrimination and actively promote harmonious relations in all areas of school life.  We seek to remove any barriers to access, participation, progress, attainment and achievement.

OUR CHILDREN COME FIRST IN EVERYTHING WE DO

This is a GOOD school.

  • Pupils leave the school as articulate young people who enjoy learning and are well prepared for the next stage of their education. They have a strong sense of right and wrong, respect each other and make a significant contribution to the harmonious community in the school.”
